Coreen Lauren has been a member of the Greater Portland running community for 30+ years. In late 2006 while hiking near her home, she had an unexpected fall resulting in a mild traumatic brain injury. Following her accident, she spent a year in rehabilitation at New England Rehab where she focused on learning new ways to think and deal with life's everyday challenges.

Following her rehabilitation, she connected with owner of Maine Running Company, John Rogers, to start a womens walk-to-run group. Through her own experiences, she is able to talk firsthand with women about new beginnings and starting over.

Blaine Moore ran for 4 years at the Rochester Institute of Technology on the cross country and track & field teams, which were NCAA Division III programs. He spent two years with the Run to Win men’s team and races for Dirigo in the USATF-NE Grand Prix circuit.

Blaine's goal is to run a marathon in every state and in foreign countries. To that end, he has so far completed 12 marathons and 1 ultramarathon at a pace of 2-3 per year. He ran the Boston Marathon in 2005 and 2007.

When not running marathons, Blaine competes in races between 1 mile and the half marathon, with the majority being 5K and 10K races. I supplement my training with weight lifting, swimming, and bicycle riding.
