Maine Track Club - Portland
Founded in 1979, the Maine Track Club is Maine's
largest and most active running club. The club has over 600 members,
organizes many road races each year and hosts monthly membership
meetings featuring notable speakers from the world of running and
fitness. The Maine Track Club features a wide range of
members, including beginning runners and experienced racers, men and
women, children and seniors. Our common bond is the joy of movement and
of being outdoors. For those who enjoy racing, the Maine Track Club sponsors races ranging in distance from 3.1 to 50 miles in length. Many Maine Track Club members enjoy socializing at the monthly membership meetings, at post-run get-togethers, and on organized outings and trips.

Rock Coast Runners - Rockport Rock Coast Runners is a small and growing group of runners in Midcoast
Maine. Some of us race, some just run for fun; some of us are slow and

Sub 5 Track Club - Bangor/Brewer Founded in 1982, the Sub5 Track Club is a non-profit organization that promotes running for fun and fitness. There are currently over 130 members in the club ranging from students to master athletes. Sub5 supports locl road racing by directing a race series and several races. We also provide assistance to organizations that wish to have help putting on their own road races. Sub5 also provides and opportunity for runners to get together and socialize. This can take place during and after races, at group runs, and anytime that we can think of an excuse to get together! Members are encouraged to volunteer at local road races and club events during the year.

TD Banknorth Beach to Beacon 10K - Portland Runners of all abilities from all parts of the U.S. run from the starting line with elite athletes from around the world for the 12th TD Banknorth Beach to Beacon 10K on August 1, 2009, at 8:00 a.m. The 6.2-mile run, starting at Crescent Beach and ending at Portland Head Light, the nation's first commissioned lighthouse, attracts over 6,000 runners, along with over 10,000 spectators, to the Maine coast, making it the largest road race ever in the Pine Tree State.
